As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, Futuro Brillante Foundation hosted Raíces en Conexión on Saturday, August 22, a gathering created especially for women in the community and designed as a space to connect, learn, and strengthen their wellbeing.
The event took place at the Futuro Brillante Campus in Matapalo and was also held in celebration of Mother’s Day, creating an opportunity to recognize the important role women play within their families and the broader community.
A Space to Connect and Support Wellbeing
Through workshops and participatory experiences, Raíces en Conexión encouraged self-care, reflection, and meaningful connections among participants.
One of the activities was a sound therapy workshop, an experience designed to promote relaxation, personal connection, and overall wellbeing.
Beyond the celebration itself, the gathering created a space to slow down, share experiences, and recognize the importance of caring for both physical and emotional wellbeing as part of a fuller, healthier life.
Ten Years of Building Opportunities Together
Throughout 2026, Futuro Brillante is commemorating a decade of working alongside the community. Raíces en Conexión was part of this celebration, once again placing people, their experiences, and the importance of building collective wellbeing at the center.
Ten years after beginning this journey, the Foundation continues to create opportunities through education, economic empowerment, and community wellbeing, while strengthening partnerships and creating spaces where people can learn, connect, and move forward together.
Raíces en Conexión reminds us that stronger communities are also built by creating the time and spaces to care for ourselves, listen to one another, and grow together.
